Scam - Energy Canada Home Comfort

Hi everyone,

Did anyone else have people from Energy Canada knock on their unit today? I had a representative come by claiming to help reduce utility costs and discuss reimbursements. It seemed legitimate at first, but he asked for personal details like my name, phone number, signature, and even bank account (direct deposit) information. Now I’m starting to feel it might have been a scam, and that they were trying to collect sensitive information from residents. Please let me know if you had someone and your opinion. If you know they are legit or scam.
