Anyone else smelling weed from the air vents?
Absolutely disgusting. Started last week.
Hard Water
Does Tower B have a water softener for all units? If not, how are folks managing with the hard water, especially for showers and drinking? I'm renting, can I ask/demand my landlord to install a water softener for my unit? It's getting tough for me managing with the hard water. I can't drink tap water due to frequent tummy aches.
Internet Connection (Bell)
Do you recently started to notice any Internet service interruptions; random service interruptions. I was wondering if it is only our unit or an issue from the provider. I reported the issue and got resolved temporarily.
Condo from Hell
Where to begin… this place is a dump. The facilities are poorly maintained. The bowling doesn’t work as the touchscreens don’t connect to the system, the tv in the lounge is smashed and has been since I moved here, the outdoor bbq area is covered in oil stains and most of the seating is torn and stained, the swim spa and hot tub are filthy and covered in a nasty scum line (have found screws, lighters, and more in them), the gym equipment doesn’t get cleaned, you’ll find everything from empty beer cans to furniture to propane cylinders left in the parking garage, garbage chute is out of service every other day, elevators break down frequently… this place is a disgrace. Our bedroom window has been broken and won’t close for several weeks and management have never responded to emails about it. This “condo” is nothing but an accommodation and party venue for society’s lowest, and the residents have to live with it constantly. Not sure where they come from but they don’t seem local to Kitchener. Lots of American license plates in the garage so could be from there. I’ve watched a large party who had the lounge booked allow their children to smash pool cues off the table and scratch the surface with them. It’s no wonder everything is destroyed. And it seems to always be the same culprits.
Garbage chutes
Has anyone noticed the garbage chutes on each floor being out of service each and every weekend? It’s very annoying that this happens so often. Being out of service once in a while is understandable but i wonder why is it so every weekend.
Nasty Garbage Room requires immediate clean-up
There are numerous larvae inside the green bins, and the smell has become unbearable almost impossible to breathe in there. It’s extremely unhygienic. Could you please arrange a thorough cleanup of the entire garbage room? It’s nasty 🤮
Constant fire alarms?
Someone in the elevator told me there's lots of fire alarm tests always happening? Apparently it happened 4 times last month. That seems really excessive, it should be at most once a month for testing. Is that normal for Station Park? I feel like no one will take it seriously when it ACTUALLY goes off in an emergency.
The Platform is looking almost complete
Was walking by station park today, there's been a lot of progress done on The Platform building, it looks really nice so far. I've been thinking of looking for a new place soon, but I'm looking to rent not buy. Anyone know when it's planned to be complete?
