Hard Water

Does Tower B have a water softener for all units?

If not, how are folks managing with the hard water, especially for showers and drinking? I'm renting, can I ask/demand my landlord to install a water softener for my unit? It's getting tough for me managing with the hard water. I can't drink tap water due to frequent tummy aches.
